The Human-Flow Power Generator was designed by students in Mechanical Design Technology to facilitate the development of sustainable energy through human power. The generator could be installed on products such as revolving doors or turnstiles to capture the motion of humans in an ambient manner and could be located at high traffic public infrastructure locations.

The idea was to capture energy from each person and contribute enough energy to power local items such as lights, heaters, LED clocks and signage or transmit power to the grid.
