Academic Upgrading
SAIT offers a wide range of upgrading courses (equivalent to Alberta high school courses.) Develop the knowledge base you need to be successful at SAIT.

Chinook Lodge Aboriginal Resources Centre
The Chinook Lodge Aboriginal Resource Centre is a space dedicated to serving the learning, training, and personal needs of Aboriginal students at SAIT. Take part in cultural and social activities or take advantage of the quiet lounge space and resources available.

Library
Explore the many resources available here with books, magazines, newspapers, videotapes, CDs/DVDs, and access to a wide variety of electronic databases, journals and newspapers. Computer workstations with Internet and Microsoft® Office are available here.

Learner Assessment and Skills Centre

• Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition. Get advanced credit towards SAIT courses depending on your previous study or work experience.
• Skills Investment Program. Apply for grant funding to access the education and training you need to succeed.
• Learning Skills and Tutoring Services offers:
  • Consultation to maximize your learning potential
  • Supplemental instruction
  • Drop-in individualized tutoring
  • Drop-in and online success seminars
• Disability Services are available for those with disabilities and/or health conditions that could hinder their access to classes or otherwise impact their chances for success.
• Testing Services - Test your English, Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Science and Keyboarding to see if you have the prerequisites for SAIT programs.

Health Services
A staff of physicians, registered nurses, a chiropractor and massage therapist address injury and illness of all students with a valid health care number.
