Program Description

SAIT polytechnics Professional Cooking diploma program is hands-on training at its best. Our highly-qualified faculty of professional chef instructors will train you with unique instructional methods in food conservation, product identification, professional cooking methods, pairing wines and foods and plate presentation.

You will work both independently and within a team environment, servicing many of SAIT's food outlets. You will also have the opportunity to study across Canada, France, Thailand, Spain, United States, Italy and Australia.

Your Career

You may work as a sous chef, chef departie chef, pastry and banquet chef, garde manger, breakfast cook, chef d'cuisine and executive chef.
