PETROLEUM ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY
Program Description
The Petroleum Engineering Technology diploma program will train you in all areas of the upstream petroleum industry and helps meet the demand for highly-skilled people in field and office positions.
Using the latest computer software, you will complete courses in core areas of engineering science, drilling, geology, production and reservoir engineering technology.
You will have your classes in the Wellsite Production Education Centre, a $3.4 million state-of-the-art petroleum industry training facility.

Your Career
You will find work as a petroleum engineering technologist in the upstream oil and gas industry in areas such as exploration and development, field operations, drilling, computer applications, economic analysis and reserves determination.
