MEDICAL RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY
Program Description
Medical Radiologic Technology is the art and science of correctly positioning the patient and X-ray equipment to produce and record images for visualizing the extent of disease or injury to a patient.
This program will teach you the safe and competent operation of a wide range of X-ray generating machines, film processing units and accessory equipment in SAIT's Centre for Advanced Diagnostic Imaging.
Up to 60 per cent of this program takes place in a clinical practicum, which may be located in Calgary, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat or Red Deer. You will get real experience working with patients before you graduate.
