CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY
Program Description
Civil Engineering Technology is a practical, hands-on program that provides you with the skills to work closely with engineers to test, develop and place engineering designs into production.
This program will prepare you for work involving translating ideas into practical applications, such as solving an infrastructure problem of poor roads, agin water lines and failing bridges.
Students entering the program have a common first year and by the end of which you get to choose a second-year option in either Construction Management or Municipal. If the option is oversubscribed, selection will be based on the first year cumulative grade point average.

Your Career
You may find work as civil engineering technologist. Other graduates have become: civil engineering design technologist, traffic technologist, building inspector, materials testing technologist, estimator and construction project coordinator.
