Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting)
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) is a specialized, industry-recognized degree designed to prepare students to succeed in the growing field of accounting. It offers practical business education including team based learning, the use of industry-recognized accounting software and laptop delivery.
Students will also benefit from small class sizes and qualified instructors who are committed to student success. Read some of our instructor profiles at the bottom of this page. Areas of study include: economics, accounting, management, critical thinking, and breadth courses in science and humanities.
SAIT School of Business worked closely with the accounting industry to create a degree that would meet employers’ demands. Our consultations allowed us to develop curriculum that will give graduates essential employability skills such as teamwork, communication, and critical thinking, in addition to business knowledge and accounting skills.

Stephen BergstromStephen teaches the majority of the financial accounting courses in the Bachelor of Applied Business Administration degree program, including Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced Financial Accounting as well as Accounting Theory, Internal Auditing, and Directed Field Studies.

David GaudetDavid has taught in the School of Business for six years and in the Radio, Television, and Broadcast News program since 1998. He currently teaches courses in marketing, management and accounting in the Business Administration diploma. David is looking forward to teaching management and marketing courses in the new Bachelor of Business Administration degree when it launches next fall. David has also been involved in the development and delivery of business courses for SAIT Corporate Training and Continuing Education.
