PROCESS OPERATIONS

Program Description

The Process Operations program trains operating personnel for opportunities in a wide range of chemical processing industries which may include petrochemical, fertilizer, natural gas processing, metallurgical and petroleum refining.

Your Career

As a graduate you will find work in process operations as plant, battery, process and field operators and could be employed in processing industries such as petrochemical, fertilizer, pulp and paper, natural gas processing, metallurgical, petroleum refining, and food and beverage production. Currently most job opportunities for process operators often involve shift work at remote locations. As a graduate you will have an understanding of processing equipment, including its function and operation, shift work environment and the responsibilities of a process operator.
