EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN

Program Description

As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) you will be trained to be the first on the scene with an injured or sick patient.

Basic life support instruction is provided from qualified paramedics as is training with an ambulance service in a rural or urban setting.

Additional training will take place in the Centre for Advanced Patient Care Simulation at SAIT.
