DIESEL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN
Program Description
The Diesel Equipment Technician program is designed by industry and provincial representatives to meet the needs of today's rapidly expanding and diverse heavy equipment sector.
After completing the program, you will be a highly trained entry-level tradesperson ready to enter the work force as an apprentice in the heavy equipment technician field.

Your Career
You will graduate prepared for mechanical repair careers in trucking, light and heavy-duty construction, logging, open pit mining, public utilities, oilfield servicing, manufacturing, marine industry and agriculture.
Career progression could lead to shop foreman, service manager, manufacturer district service representative, technical training instructor, factory quality control inspector, regional service manager or fleet maintenance manager.
